Director of Policy & Campaigns

Steve works part-time for the FSF as Director of Policy & Campaigns.

He’s been an Arsenal supporter since 1968 and a season ticket holder since 1980/81. He’s a life member of the Arsenal Football Supporters’ Club and a founding life member and former chair of the Arsenal Independent Supporters’ Association, both of which are FSF affiliates. He is also a founding life member and current board member of the Arsenal Supporters’ Trust. He’s been an individual member of the FSF and the FSA (one of the FSF’s two founding partners) since 1996.

He follows the fortunes of his beloved Wales both home and away and lists his “second” teams as AFC Wimbledon (member of the Dons Trust), FC United of Manchester (club member), Barnet, Queen of the South (Queens Trust member) River Plate (Argentina, socio, or voting member) and Nacional (Uruguay, socio). Steve also follows cricket (Middlesex), rugby union and league (Harlequins in both).
