International Co-ordinator
Kevin is a Newcastle United fan aged 46 years - which of course means he's never seen his team win anything other than promotion and the Texaco Cup of 1974. This background was ideal preparation for his work for the FSF which involves following the England team around - some great players, massive following, no silverware, all very familiar stuff.
Kevin has worked for the FSF and its predecessor the FSA since the World Cup of 1998, organising the Fans' Embassy advice and information service for travelling fans. He edits the FSF's England fanzine Free Lions, which is distributed free at England games.
As it's possible for clubs to play in the Champions' League without ever being champion of anything, Kevin's attention has also turned to the interests of British football fans following their clubs in Europe.
The post of International Co-ordinator for the FSF also involves promoting friendship, goodwill, and even campaigning alliances among fans from various countries, all of which is assisted by his ability to reproduce the inanities he comes out with into several languages.
Kevin was a founder member of the FSF initiative Justice for Football Fans Abroad (JFFA) and is also chair of the anti-racist educational charity, Show Racism the Red Card.
