Treasurer
Born in Aberystwyth Carroll moved to Wrexham at an early age and has been a staunch supporter of Wrexham for over 50 years. He joined the Wrexham AFC Supporters Association in the early 60s, being responsible for the printing, publication and sales of the match day programme for a number of years. He became Chairman of the Association "donkeys years ago" - he can’t remember quite when but it seems a very long time. He still holds that position.
Carroll became interested in the national supporters movement when he was invited to become Secretary of the Welsh Division of the NFFSC in January 1976, 5 months prior to the Shrewsbury Conference. He still holds that post and has been involved in trying to keep the Division alive and actively involved in organising many successful annual conferences on behalf of the Division.
He was appointed to represent the Division on the National Council nearly 20 years ago during which time he also organised the annual national junior 5-a-side football competition.
He was been National Treasurer of the NFFSC for 8 years succeeding Ken Chaplin and upon the merger with the FSA was nominated to continue as Treasurer of the FSF, a position he was happy to accept.
