Do you back Uefa's financial fair play rules?
Last Thursday Uefa approved their new financial fair play rules that means any club wishing to compete in the Champions or Europa League must break even every season. The new rules won’t kick in for a couple of years meaning clubs have time to sort themselves out. Long-term owner investment in things such as stadiums and training facilities will also still be allowed even if it means clubs are run at a loss.
However, owners who do their accounts in red ink only because they blow billions on players will have to balance the books if they wish to continue competing in Europoean competition from 2012/13. But what do you think - are Platini's plans a step in the right direction?
