The Twenty's Plenty petition is now closed, although FSF campaigns around ticket prices are still ongoing.

What is Twenty's Plenty? A call upon football clubs at all levels of the game to recognise and reward the amazing contribution of away fans by getting together to agree an across the board price cap on away match tickets of £20 (£15 for concessions). Prices are too high and they often hit travelling fans hardest - we want to fix that.

What did the Twenty's Plenty petition achieve? The key idea behind the FSF’s Twenty’s Plenty petition was that clubs should offer away fans cheaper deals on a reciprocal basis, preferably for £20 or less. This idea was used by nine clubs during 2013/14 saving 31,807 fans a total of £342,260. That number will surpass £500,000 during 2014/15.

In addition it created a campaigning environment in which the Premier League saw fit to introduce the £12m Away Fans Initative. This equates to £200,000 per club, per season and is budgeted money which must be spent on away supporters. The best deals reduced ticket prices on the gate, while others offered free coach travel.

Perhaps as importantly the petition really pushed the issue of ticket prices up the agenda. Five or six years ago, very few in the game cared about the issue; nowadays it's widely recognised as an issue by ex-pros, high-profile journalists, and politicians.

Can I do more? Yes! The FSF will lead a demonstration of fans at the next meeting of the Premier League shareholders held in central London on Thursday 26th March (time TBC). This is a vital protest for fans from ALL leagues; we want to see you there regardless of the club you support.

Also sign our new #ShareTVWealth petition - this triggers an email to them and the relevant league outlining your support for lower prices/redistribution of TV wealth throughout the pyramid. It's a vital step in this campaign as the PL and FL always insist that clubs hold the power.

We represent Manchester United Supporters via http://www.stretfordendflags.com Our members express constant frustration at the prices we get charged at away grounds, compared to fans of other Premier league teams. We are constanly charged top category prices, eg £63 at Arsenal, while other clubs supporters get charged £23 to watch their sides play in the same seats, within the same away end. This categorisation has to stop. It should be one set price for all away fans at an affordable level. Away travel costs have increased dramatically through petrol costs and increased train fares. SKY TV schedules mean that supporters cannot buy ahead to take advantage of cheap tickets, as SKY give short notice on changes. Away icket prices must drop for the good of the game and the support.
