It's a struggle for the lower league club the world over - how to draw fans. Serie B side Triestina have taken a somewhat literal approach to the problem, however, and constructed their own 2D supporters to fill their stadium.

With dwindling attendances and empty stands a common sight, they decided to combat the problem by closing down a stand and filling it with a cost effective solution to the lack of supporters. We guess what they lose in atmosphere they save in policing and stewarding costs.
