No, no, no. Not that Parliament. In a week when the House of Commons hit its lowest ebb in modern times we wouldn’t expect you to traipse along there to talk about football. Although looking at some of the new season ticket prices being on an MPs wage might be the only way to afford one. We’re talking the FSF’s Fans’ Parliament – our annual get together that gives supporters across England and Wales the chance to have their say on the issues of the day.

Fans’ Parliament takes place in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne’s Live Theatre on Saturday, June 20th (10am-5.30pm) and is entirely free of charge and is open to members and non-members alike.

The Guardian's David Conn will give the keynote speech while representatives from the FA, Premier League and PFA will also be in attendence to answer any questions you have and join in the debates with fans at the breakout sessions.

These will look at club governance and ownership, policing and stewarding, safe standing, ticket prices and diversity. This gives fans the opportunity to debate and shape FSF policy before returning to the main hall to vote on these issues.

But it’s not all debate, debate, debate – we’ve got plenty lined up on the social side for the full weekend too. Friday night kicks off a pub crawl around Newcastle’s finest establishments and the President’s Dinner, Saturday sees our Hacks vs Crocks (ex-pros and journos quiz), while Sunday is five-a-side time. Or a leisurely stroll around Newcastle’s historic Quayside for those who forget their boots.

Best of all, it’s all free – well, except the beer and peanuts. You can buy your own.
