Here at the FSF we obviously don’t condone violence, whether it’s from fans or – on this occasion – a player. Normally when someone gets a second yellow there’ll be a bit of handbags with the opposition, some theatrical hand gestures towards the ref and a long skulk back to the dressing room. Not in the Greek lower-leagues though where the player in this video sees fit to start a near riot by (quite literally) kicking a man while he’s down. Charming.
Edit to say - Thanks to Panos Tzanenas who's got in touch via the FSF's Facebook page to give a little more background: "The game was for Kalimnos (island in south Greece) cup. The player after a short treatment in hospital is ok. The other guy he had life banned and he will go in the court, as result of this violent act."
