Travelling fans warned on visa requirements

ENGLAND AND WALES fans planning to travel to Belarus or Russia for their respective World Cup qualifiers are reminded that they will need a visa to enter the countries.

All British passport holders travelling either country are required to hold a valid visa, and it is important you apply as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

England fans travelling to Belarus on 15th October will be required to provide a tourist voucher from a registered Belarusian travel agency with whom you have booked your accommodation.

Wales fans planning to travel to the World Cup qualifier in Moscow on September 10, 2008 will need a valid visa to enter Russia.

Unlike the Champions League final between Chelsea and Manchester United a match ticket alone WILL NOT suffice. Wales fans wanting to make the trip should apply as soon as possible for their visas, as arrangements can become more complicated to make closer to the date of the fixture.

Supporters wishing to travel to these games can contact RuVisa Ltd, amongst others, who may be able to assist you with booking accommodation. For further information or assistance email fsf@ruvisa.co.uk or visit their website, here for England fans or here for Wales fans.
