The FSF Comedy Panel Show & Football Writers Awards 2011 in association with Cult Zeros will take place Saturday 9th July at The Tabernacle in Notting Hill, London (7pm). This event is free to FSF members but registration is required - see below. If your name’s not on the list, you’re not getting in…

The award ceremony will run alongside the FSF Comedy Panel Show featuring (in alphabetical order as we don’t want to damage any delicate celebrity egos):

  • Barry GlendenningThe Guardian’s Football Weekly podcast mainstay.
  • John Sitton – ex-pro and, errrm, volatile manager. Teacups beware.
  • Kevin Day – stand-up comedian, comedy writer and Match of the Day 2 regular.

The FSF has completely revamped and extended our annual Football Writer’s Award and many of the high-profile nominees will be in attendance. The winners of the various categories – Newspaper / Website / Writer / Blogger / Fanzine / Photographer of the Year awards – will be announced throughout the evening’s entertainment. Of the six categories shortlisted three will be decided by an FSF panel while the Photography Award will be judged by renowned football photographer Stuart Roy Clarke.
