The Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) is seeking information on how the biggest secondary ticket agencies provide informaton to consumers.

In March last year the CMA announced that four of the largest UK secondary ticket sites – GET ME IN!, Seatwave, StubHub and viagogo – had agreed to improve the information they give to fans about the tickets listed for sale on their website.

Now the CMA wishes to review the four secondary ticketing agencies and is asking anyone with relevant information about their practices to send it to the authority.

The CMA has not taken any decisions about whether there have been any breaches of consumer protection legislation or what it might do once this review is completed.
