#shareTVwealth petition

Football Supporters' Federation statement following the announcement of the Premier League's new £5.14bn domestic TV rights deal.

Malcolm Clarke, chair of the Football Supporters' Federation, said:

"Billions of pounds have fallen into clubs' laps and there's a real chance here for them to do something positive with that wealth.

"3% of the increase alone from the latest domestic Premier League deal would pay for a £20 away ticket cap, in line with the FSF's Twenty's Plenty campaign.

"The increase equates to £40+ for every fan, at every game; clubs have to do more for fans, lower league and grassroots football.

"Over the past couple of decades players, owners and agents have all gained from this windfall, and now it's time for fans to benefit via lower prices."
