The FSF's Northeast Division are holding their AGM on the 27th May at the Garden House Pub in Durham (click on the link for a map).
It's an excellent chance for football fans to come together to have their say about the state of the game in the region (although we expect a few long faces after the final day of the season).
The Northeast Division has held meetings throughout the region this season, from Durham to Darlington, Newcastle to Sunderland. The meeting starts at 7pm and should be over just in time to catch the start of the Champions League Final, and to enjoy a chat over a couple of pints in friendly surroundings. The Garden House is pretty easy to find, and only a couple of minutes walk from Durham station on North Road, but for those of you who'll be sat-naving their way to the meeting the postcode is DH1 4NQ
As well as the official business of electing the Division's officers for the coming year, it'll serve as a time to reflect on the FSF's campaigns over the past season (particularly the success of our 'Fair Cop' initiative), as well as looking forward to what you want to see the FSF campaigning on next season. Non-members are more than welcome.
The Northeast Division are also heavily involved with organising this year's FSF Fans' Parliament - the FSF's annual national event, which this year takes place in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on the 20th June. We'd like to see as many new faces as possible, so whether you can make it to Durham next week, or Newcastle in June, our message is simple: get involved!
