FSF NE meet in Sunderland Friday 4th - all invited!

The Northeast Division of the FSF would like to invite all fans, members or not, to their next meeting which is due to take place on Friday, September 4th at the Saltgrass pub in Sunderland (Deptford) from 7:30pm. Fans of all clubs are welcome so get yourself along if you live in the region. The Saltgrass is approximately ten minutes walk from Sunderland’s Park Lane Metro - click here for directions.

While the FSF’s Northeast Division has been very active with last season’s Fair Cop? campaign there’s no room for complacency. They’ll be looking at possible future campaigns and want to hear from you - member or not. FSF Northeast is a voluntary organisation, the FSF is only as strong as fans who get involved, so come along and see what we’re all about!

The meeting will also look at the events which took place in Newcastle’s Central Station on Saturday, August 8th. The FSF has received many eye witness reports which directly contradict the police’s statements that fans were out to cause trouble.

Amanda Jacks of the FSF's executive committee has been heavily involved in our work on this and will be on hand to answer any questions you might have. We’d also like to hear from you on what action you think is appropriate.

There’ll also be beer, peanuts and football crack, of course.

This meeting is open to football fans from every club.

If you’d like to come along, we'd appreciate an email to ginnette.bentley@fsf.org.uk so that we can gauge numbers, but there's no necessity to do this if you want to turn up on spec.

Hope to see you there!
