FSF NE - get involved on Tuesday 17th

The Northeast Division of the Football Supporters’ Federation (FSF) is meeting this Tuesday, February 17th, at Sunderland’s Stadium of Light (Fosters Suite). The meeting will start at 7.30pm. Although this meeting is being held at the Stadium of Light it is open to fans of ALL clubs.

The division is always pleased to see new faces so get yourself along, FSF member or not, and pass on the invite to anyone you think might be interested. Divisional meetings are moved around the region and the Stadium of Light is the most suitable venue in Sunderland.

The division campaign on issues that matter to Northeast supporters and this season has focused on Fair Cop? which looks at policing and stewarding at the region’s derby matches. A report was also produced following October’s Tyne-Wear derby, the Fair Cop? report can be viewed here.

FSF Northeast will look at their campaigns for next season and in particular issues around ticket pricing and rail travel. With both Darlington and Sunderland announcing cheaper season ticket prices for next season, what can fans do to make sure this is only the beginning of a new, fairer deal for supporters who have for too long paid over the odds? How can we encourage other clubs to follow Darlington and Sunderland's lead?

Think there’s something FSF Northeast is missing? Come along and tell FSF Northeast about it then.

To register for Tuesday's meeting, please email Ginnette Bentley with your name and club.
