Football fans sought for final choir

Songs of Praise

Ever wanted to sing in front of 90,000 on the most important day in the English footballing calendar? Then you're in luck...

The BBC’s Sunday television institution-come-sing-along Songs of Praise has teamed up with BBC Sport to offer fans the chance to be part of its FA Cup final choir.

Singing Abide By Me before kick-off, with backing by the FA Cup military band, the choir will be made up of fans from each of the 64 clubs that made it to this year’s third round.

Songs of Praise are looking for the best stories and memories of the FA Cup from fans, and they insist no singing experience is necessary. The judges to pick the winners will be announced next week.

  • Applications can be submitted on the Songs of Praise website, closing date Saturday 7th March.
