As the 2018-19 season enters its closing stages, we’re looking for more supporters to take part in our Away Fans Survey.

The Away Fans Survey is now in its sixth year of recording the away fan experience across England and Wales. It provides travelling supporters the opportunity to tell us about their away trips, providing valuable feedback on pricing, access, facilities, stewarding, catering, and much more.

The information provided by supporters is taken to the host clubs and has led to many improvements to away ends across the country. Additionally, the data has been shared with more than 50 affiliate and associate members of the FSF to help them learn more about the away ends at their clubs.

FSF deputy chief executive David Rose said: “The Away Fans Survey is the only independent national survey of away fans that seeks to secure better treatment for away fans in England and Wales.

“The data fans give us is extremely helpful for clubs and the football authorities looking to understand the needs of away fans.

“We’d love to hear about your experiences on the road this season.”

Last season, the Away Fans Survey was completed by almost 3,800 away fans. Once again Cardiff City, previous winners of the FSF Away Day of the Year, performed well scoring 8.04. That score was the highest in the country, just beating their Welsh rivals Swansea City.

Cardiff City was the most-liked away day in the Championship, while Southampton were rated highest in the Premier League. Fleetwood Town finished top in League One and Chesterfield were rated highest in League Two.

If you’ve been to an away game at any point this season – take five tell us about it in the 2018-19 Away Fans Survey.

All the information supporters provide to us is fully anonymised before sharing with any clubs, supporter groups or football authorities.
