Non-League: get involved in our National Game Network

Alongside Supporters Direct we'll be holding the inaugural ‘National Game Network’ meeting on January 20th 2019 at the Mechanics Institute Conference Centre in Manchester.

The meeting will bring together supporters and supporter groups at clubs who do not play in the English professional game. This network includes members from Wales as we believe that they will have much to contribute to our discussions.

Supporters Direct and the FSF have recently merged to form a unified national supporters' organisation. The structure of the new organisation allows for the creation of networks of members with a common bond and some shared interests and issues.

The National Council has been elected with fan representatives from the new non-league network sitting alongside reps from the networks at Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two. Plus, members elected to represent community-owned clubs, individual members, and those groups from the Fans for Diversity campaign.

Two vacancies remain for National Game representatives on the National Council. At the network meeting on Sunday 20th January we will discuss the organisation of a by-election to fill the two remaining National Game representative places.

The meeting will also give members of the National Game Network an opportunity to determine our future priorities and campaigning initiatives as well as contribute agenda items and discussion points for our upcoming ‘structured dialogue’ meeting with The National League, provisionally scheduled for February.

 The full meeting agenda is as follows;

  • Introduction & Welcome
  • Membership
  • Casework & Structured Dialogue
  • Campaigns
  • Governance & Communications
  • Any Other Business
  • Date of the next meeting & venue

We will shortly circulate brief written supplementary reports from staff on our work to date covering casework, structured dialogue and campaigning.

We want as many people to attend as possible but for those who may not be able to attend in person, we will make provision to join the meeting by either conference call or video link.
