There is no central tourist office in Bucharest, so it's best to arm yourself with as much information as you can before you go.

Cash / Currency Exchange
ATM's are plentiful, as are exchanges. There are 24 hour booths on B-dul Nicolae Balcescu in the city centre. We'd advise against using the bureau de change at Henri Coanda airport, as the rates are some of the worst in the city.
Hospitals
The Emergency Clinic Hospital on Calea Floreasca is the best state hospital in Bucharest. Alternatively there is the Medicover private clinic on Calea Plevni.
Chemists
Sensi-Blu are one of the largest chains of pharmacies, with 18 branches in Bucharest.
