Milan itself is served by two major airports – Linate and Malpensa – which deal with the majority of major scheduled airlines, but it is also easily reachable from Bergamo airport.
Of the two major airports, Linate is closer to the city (approximately 5 miles away), and a taxi into the city centre will set you back around €30. There are regular bus services to the Stazione Centrale, which cost only a couple of Euros, and take around 20 minutes. From Malpensa, the prices are at least double those from Linate, as it’s approximately 30 miles away from the city centre. A taxi will cost something like €70, and the buses are around €6. This journey can take from around 40 minutes to an hour. The Malpensa Express is probably the easiest and fastest option – a direct train to the centre of Milan from as little as €10.
