ATM’s are plentiful all along Aliados and in every shopping area/ Bureau de Change - Portocâmbios - Rue Rodriques Sampaio 193, open 9am-5pm Mon - Fri, 9am -noon Sat.

There is a 24hr exchange with bank beside the ICEP turismo desk at the airport arrivals hall. (The bank is not 24hr - 8:30am - 3pm Mon - Fri)

Police Stations

Porto has plenty of dimly lit alleys best avoided after dark, in particular in riverside areas off Rue Nova da Alfâdega and Avenida Gustavo Eiffel. International trains are a favourite target for thieves.
