Aalborg airport is approximately 5 miles northwest of the city centre. Until recently if you were flying from the UK, there were direct flights with Sterling from London Gatwick, but unfortunately the company ceased trading late on in 2008.
Chances are now you’ll have to find a connecting flight from Copenhagen, or possibly Oslo. Ryanair offer flights to nearby Aarhus from London Stansted.

Buses run to/from the airport every half hour during the day. The cost is 16kr/approx £2.
By Train
Aalborg has regular train connections with the larger cities of Aarhus (approximately 90 minutes) and Copenhagen (approximately 5 hours) from its main train station, below.
Trains from Copenhagen will set you back around £50.
