Cash / Currency Exchange
Currency can be exchanged in major banks in Donetsk, for a small fee. ATM’s are reasonably widely available from which you can withdraw cash. More and more places are accepting of credit cards (Mastercard, VISA), although we have read that American Express is not as widely accepted as some others.

Toilets
Public toilets are rare and are somewhat basic – it is advisable to use facilities in hotels, restaurants or museums, which are likely to be of a slightly higher standard.
