Accommodation in Portugal is generally reasonably priced though there is a tendency to inflate prices around European matches. The earlier you book, the better the deal.
Budget Accomadation
For the more budget-conscious there are several hostels and campsites in the city and surrounding area. As ever, the wonderful Hostelbookers comes up trumps. Private rooms can be found from as little as €12.50 per person, per night, up to around €30. There's plenty of choice on their site.
If you’re feeling particularly brave, there are campsites located at Parque de Campismo da Preluda, Rua Monte dos Burgos. Tel: +351 (22)8 312 616. Car €3.10 tent €2.60 - €4.90. The site is 4km northwest of the city centre. Take No. 6 bus from Praça da Liberdade or Bus 50 from Jardim da Cordoaria.
