Main Drinking Areas
The main concentration of bars in Alkmaar is around Waagplein (the main market square) and Platte Stenen Brug (Mient, just south of the Waagplein) in the centre of the city.

Gunnery’s Irish Pub is situated by the Plattestenen brug (the flat stone bridge), opposite the fish market.
