By Train

Upton Park is the closest Underground station to West Ham United FC (The Boleyn Ground). Turn right and it’s 500 yards on your left. Upton Park Station is on the District (Green) line, in Zone 3 and journey times from Central London are approx 40mins. When you exit the station turn right. The stadium is then a 2 minute walk on your left hand side.

Upton Park does not have a mainline railway station, however the following the stations can be used (with connections) to get to The Boleyn ground:

Stratford Mainline Station (First Great Eastern) then take bus route 104 or Underground (Jubilee Line then change at West Ham for District Line) or Barking Mainline Station (c2c railways) then take bus route 5 or Underground (District) Line

After the games, Upton Park station is very busy; you can end up queuing for up to forty-minutes. The best thing to do is either walk to East Ham – particularly handy if you’re a visiting fan, though very confusing directionally – or Plaistow, which would be the faster and easier walk.

There are many ways of completing this walk, but the easiest is this: head towards Upton Park station, turning left just after it into Harold Road (this later becomes Terrace Road). Walk down to the end, bearing left into Pelly Road (this becomes Clegg Street). At the T-junction with the High Street, turn right into the High Street and Plaistow station is further down on the left.

Bus routes 5, 15, 58, 115, 147, 58, 104, 330 and 376 serve The Boleyn Ground

By Car

FROM THE NORTH
Take North Circular (A406) to A124 (East Ham), then on Barking Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you approach the traffic lights on cross-roads. Turn right into Green Street, ground is on the right hand side.

FROM THE EAST
Use A13 (signposted London) then at cross-roads turn right A117. In 0.9 miles at cross-roads turn left into Green Street for West Ham United FC.

FROM THE SOUTH
Use Blackwall Tunnel and A13 to Canning Town, then follow signs East Ham A124 in 1.7 miles turn left into Green Street for West Ham FC.

FROM THE WEST
Take North Circular (A406) to A124 (East Ham), then on Barking Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you approach traffic lights on cross-roads. Turn right into Green Street , ground is on your right hand side.

Other Ways To Get There

By Air

London City Airport is the closest. It’s not far from Canning Town tube too.

By Taxi

Black cabs from the centre of town will be pricey to say the least. Little change out of 30 quid.

By Foot

It's quite difficult giving direction to Upton Park for people on foot when you don't know where they're coming from. We don't recommend walking from Newcastle.
