Disabled Information

The Boleyn Ground currently has 119 wheelchair spaces situated in various positions around the stadium; all have provisions for the carer to be sat with the supporter. All seats are unobstructed and many offer the supporter an elevated view.

In additional to the above we also have 136 seats provided for the use of our ambulant disabled supporters, these are situated in both the Dr Martens Stand Upper & Lower Tiers.

Access to all areas is ramped and lifts are provided for all Upper Tier viewing areas.
Disabled toilet facilities are available in each of the areas, they are fully accessible and most are operated using a radar key.   Blind or partially sighted fans visiting the ground can enjoy commentary for all home league & cup matches, headsets are provided free of charge but need to be booked in advance and must be returned after the match.   Ticket prices for Season 2006/07 are £16.00 for the disabled supporter and the carer attends free of charge. Season tickets for the coming season are now sold out, but tickets can still be purchased on a match-by-match basis through the club membership or general sale.

All disabled supporters places have been allocated to season ticket holders and we regret that there is insufficient numbers to allocate any spaces on a match to match basis.

The current criterion to qualify for a disabled ticket is that the supporter must be claiming Disability Living Allowance at the high rate for mobility. The ticket office will seek proof of this before booking.

To make a booking or for further information please contact Gina Allen on 0870 112 9908 or email disabledinfo@westhamunited.co.uk   Public transport:

Tube: Upton park and Plaistow are not wheelchair friendly but East Ham is, from which you can get the 5, 58, 115, 147, 104, and 376 to the grounds

Bus: All London buses are low-floor vehicles (excluding Heritage buses on routes 9 and 15), which means that they are lowered to street level when the bus stops and the doors open enabling all customers, including wheelchair users, people with buggies, people with assistance dogs and people with other mobility impairments to get on and off easily. On all buses, there is room for one wheelchair user and each bus has a retractable ramp which makes access easier. For more details click here.
