Situated in East Ham, the Boleyn is fairly close to both central London (7 miles from the city centre) and Essex. The surrounding residential area is in need of some renovation, but is well equipped in terms of take-away restaurants (plenty are situated on the Barking Road and Green Street itself), and pubs.
