The closest railway station to the ground is Blackpool South, served by hourly trains between Colne and Preston, and is around ten minutes walk away from the ground. However, this is not a main line station and fewer trains stop here. The main station in the town (and likely to be the one you arrive at) is Blackpool North. This is around two miles away and is about 20 minutes walk - or a short cab ride.
By Bus
If you venture up the Golden Mile, why not travel back on a tram! Nearest stop for the ground is Manchester Square, from where it is no more than 10 minutes walk to the ground.
By Car
Leave the M6 at J32. Follow the M55 into the outskirts of Blackpool. The link road (Yeadon Way) follows straight on from the M55 - just continue straight along this road until you see the ground on your right. On your left is a very large pay & display car park, or you may be able to find some street parking. Charges on the car park vary depending on whether it is the summer season (which runs until the end of the illuminations in early November) You should check parking charges carefully as unlike most town centre car parks, they continue charging past 6pm.
Other Ways To Get There
By Air
Ryanair fly daily between Blackpool and Stansted. The airport is a ten minute taxi ride to the ground.
By Taxi
There is a taxi rank outside Blackpool North Station and it will cost around £4 or so to the ground. Similarly in the town centre there are a number of taxi ranks. Alternatively try one of the local firms: Tower Taxis on tel. 01253 626262, Streamline Taxis on tel. 01253 623535 or J Cabs on tel. 01253 627733.
