Blackburn railway station is about a mile and a half from the ground, about a 20-minute walk away. The station empties onto the Boulevard, the central bus station from where several buses (3, 3A, 3B, 46 and 346) run past the ground (heading for Darwen).
Mill Hill station, on the line between Blackburn and Preston, is actually nearer the stadium (about a mile or a 15 minute walk), but beware not all trains on the line stop there, though football special trains often use Mill Hill rather than Blackburn.

By Bus
From the Boulevard (central bus station) several buses (3, 3A, 3B, 46 and 346) run past the ground (heading for Darwen). Two Football Special buses operate on matchdays.
Route A runs from Accrington to Ewood Park via the Boulevard (stand P) and Route C runs from Darwen Town Centre. Tickets are £2.50 for a return journey. The Blackburn Transport site has a full timetable for 3pm, 4pm and 8pm kick off times: Blackburn Transport Football Specials.
If you’re travelling quite a distance, National Express services calling at Blackburn stop at the Boulevard, opposite Blackburn railway station (see above).
By Car
The ground is less than a mile north of the M65 J4. This is the “official” route to the stadium. Follow the signs towards Blackburn through various sets of traffic lights for Blackburn Rovers FC.
Another option is to exit at junction 5, and go left at the first roundabout then straight on through the traffic lights at Blackamoor Road, then continuing straight on at two more roundabouts until the road joins the A666 Bolton Road. Ewood Park is close by, on the right.
For those coming from the north of the town, follow the A666 through Blackburn, following signs for Bolton. Ewood Park is on the left, around a mile and a half south of the town centre.
From the west, follow the A59 from J31 of the M6, then take the A677 towards Blackburn. Go straight ahead at two sets of traffic lights, then turn right at a mini-roundabout in front of Sacred Heart RC Church, before following the road downhill, through a set of lights, under an aqueduct and ahead at another set of lights onto Bolton Road, with the stadium on your left.
Car parking is available at the ground, though getting away after the game from these car parks can be a slow process. There are a number of small, private car parks fairly near to the ground, charging £4 or £5. Other than these, street parking is commonplace, though many streets in the vicinity of the ground now have residents-only restrictions. Locals will often choose to park a 10-15 minute walk from the ground where there may be fewer restrictions and the chance of an easier get-away after the game.
For visitors, Darwen Vale School, close to Junction 4 of the M65, is always popular, but there a several other similar options, all costing around £5. The police generally hold up traffic on Bolton Road for 15-20 minutes after the game to help spectators on foot get away from the stadium.
The club has had various discussions about the feasibility of introducing park and ride schemes, but nothing has, to date, come to fruition.
Other Ways To Get There
