The Away fans are seated in the North Stand. You'll normally get about 2,000 tickets but if there is more demand the number can rise to around 6,000. It's not recommended that away fans drink in Barnsley city centre at all. So if you do it might be a good idea to cover up any colours.
There is a Metro dome, a sort of leisure centre, near the ground that serves food and has a bar. The Mount apparently welcomes away fans and is close to the ground and if you get there early on before the match there's even a footy quiz to keep you occupied.
Oh, and no alcohol at half time for the away fan.
Matchday Arrangements
You are not allowed to fly your flags while at Oakwell but there are areas to store your flags while watching the match.
