By Train

If travelling by train, there are a couple of choices. Trains run direct from Moorgate or Old Street overland to New Barnet on the Moorgate  Welwyn line (taking around 25 minutes and costing around £4.50 return). Services run at 20 minute intervals during the day and at 30 minutes intervals at night. New Barnet station is about a mile or a comfortable 20 minutes walk from the ground.

High Barnet station, at the end of the London underground northern line, (beware trains alternate between High Barnet and Edgeware so make sure you get the right one!) is closer to the ground, though the journey is longer, taking around 35 minutes from London Kings Cross. Direct trains run every 7 or so minutes during the day with prices varying between £4 for a single to £6.30 for an off-peak one day travelcard, or, if you?re travelling in a group, you can get a one day group travelcard for £3.50 each. Though the journey is longer, the station is much closer, around 5 minutes on foot from Underhill.

By Bus

From New Barnet Station, you also have the option of bus numbers 84, 384 or 107 up to Underhill which run throughout the day at regular intervals. Fares are around £1.20 for adults and half price for children.

By Car

The easiest access to Underhill is via junction 23 of the M25. From here the A1081 St.Albans Road takes you into Barnet. At the lights, turn right into the High Street and follow the road past Barnet Church and High Barnet Station down the hill. Just before the rail bridge, turn right into Underhill, then first left into Barnet Lane for the ground.

From within London, you can alternatively take the A406 North Circular Road to its junction with the A1000 in Finchley. Follow this road northwards through North Finchley and Whetstone shopping centres. Drive into Barnet, pass the Odeon and Queens Arms on the left. Once under the railway bridge, immediately turn into Fairfield Way and first right into Westcombe Drive for the ground.

For parking, the roads around the ground are cordoned off. If you want to avoid getting a ticket, clamped or worse still towed, your best bet is to head for the car park at High Barnet Underground Station with 200 spaces, which you pass on the main route in from the M25. Charges range from £1 on a Saturday to ?3 during the week.

Other Ways To Get There

By Taxi

New Barnet BR Station does not have a taxi rank but as the station is within walking distance, unless you're arriving close to kick off, there's no need to worry about taxis. If you do need one locally, try Metro Radio Taxis on tel. 020 8440 1234 or Barnet Minicabs on tel. 020 8440 9009.

By Foot

FROM NEW BARNET: Leave the station past the ticket office, then turn right and head towards Station Road. Turn left into Station Road and follow this all the way to a set of lights. Cross the road and walk past the Red Lion pub, then under the railway bridge. Take the first left into Fairfield Way, then right into Westcombe Drive for the ground.

FROM HIGH BARNET: Turn left out of the station, cross the main road and walk down the hill to the Red Lion pub. An alleyway in front of the pub leads to Westcombe Drive and the away turnstiles.
