 Pink Link

Welcome to the Pink Link - a guide to the gay scene in the cities that England fans have and will be visiting, provided by me, Lindsay England.

First, a little about me!

I have been a member of englandfans for nine years now and managed to tie in 40th birthday celebrations (which lasted three weeks!) with the World Cup last summer (had to be done being born june '66'!).

Despite living and working in Manchester, I remain a true Bradford City fan, attending my first game vs. Lincoln in 1975.

Until January 2003, I hadn't missed a Bantams home game for 8 years and away game in five, including Inter Toto cup games and the pre-season games in St. Kitts and Canada.

I used to run the supporters club at Bradford City before setting up the supporters trust.

My favourite England player is BECKS, (still!!) and my favourite England goal has to be Gazza's v Scotland in Euro '96.

By following the links below (coming soon), you can find information on the current Pink Links which may be of use to gay supporters. I have never set out to be on a one woman crusade regarding gay issues but I wanted to make the information available.

If you have any queries or wish to get involved, please email me

The Pink Link's Guide to Vienna

Not too long ago you may have been correct in thinking that Rigsby’s cat had much more gayness about it than Austria’s capital city of Vienna, but the recent introduction of a 48-page booklet listing all of the gay and gay friendly locations about town shows that the natives are pressing for a mu...
