The Nationwide FSF Fans’ Embassy service will operate in Berlin on Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th November, for the friendly game between Germany and England. The Fans’ Embassy will be located at Breitscheidplatz – near Bahnhof Zoo - from noon to 5pm on Tuesday, and from 10am to 5pm on Wednesday.

The stadium will open at 6pm, kick-off is at 8.45pm. As of yet, there has been no confirmation as to whether they are going to allow fans in early to hang flags. Please keep an eye on the Free Lions website and as soon as we hear anything, we’ll post it up in the news section.

England fans can use any entrance to gain access to the stadium, but it is preferred that you use the South Entrance as this is the entrance closest to the England section within the ground. The South Entrance is next to the S-Bahn station.

There may be a number of security cordons to proceed through. Please allow plenty of time to get to the stadium and proceed through the cordons.

As always, we advise that you give yourself plenty of time to get to the stadium as public transport will be busy and there will be the usual cordons to pass through at the stadium to gain entry. Alcohol will be available within the stadium BUT it is low-alcohol beer.

We have been advised that England fans will not be held back after the game. Please see below for all prohibited items:

  • All weapons, regardless of type, and all objects that can be used as such;
  • All objects, materials or substances likely to pose a threat to safety, public order, or to disrupt the process of the match, or cause damage to persons or goods;
  • Projectiles of any kind such as pieces of wood, metal, stone, glass, cans, bottles (whether filled with combustible substances or not), prohibited containers which is, or was, capable of holding liquid and which, if thrown would be capable of causing injury to another person;
  • Flammable or explosive substances, liquids and glasses, fireworks or flares of any kind;
  • Alcoholic drinks, narcotics or stimulants;
  • Banners or other signs or material bearing offensive, malicious, provocative, political or racial or sectarian text or messages and commercial/promotional materials;
  • Flags, flagpoles, banners, badges, headgear, inflatable items, or symbols likely to disrupt order and safety or to impair visibility of other spectators;
  • Animals - except guide dogs (by prior arrangement with Host Club);
  • Other objects identified by police, stewards, safety personnel and/or any other duly authorised persons, which may effect security, public health, public order and/or the reputation of UEFA and the Host Association;
