GETTING TO THE GROUND
Our recommendation for how to get to the stadium for the game really couldn’t be much simpler: walk. You’ll need to allow time, as the ground is a good half hour, if not forty minutes, from the city centre, but walking is how the big majority of people here go to games.
The route’s not complicated: it’s basically a straight line east from town, up the Avenida de Eduardo Dato. There are plenty of shops, bars and restaurants on the way, so it’s not a dull trip, and often for big games, the police will close off the roads to traffic, making walking the only way to go, so follow the crowds.
The terminally lazy could try taking a bus – numbers C1, C2, 32 and 37 run past it – or even a taxi, but be warned, traffic congestion and possible road closures could make this a slower and quite expensive option.
FLAGS IN THE STADIUM
The stands are covered and there are no restrictions of views of the pitch. There are limited areas where flags can be hung, but it could be that on the day of the game these areas are taken up with advertising.
We have yet to make arrangements for fans to enter the stadium to hang flags early. As soon as we have any information we shall put it up on the website or you can come to the fans’ embassy in Seville for info
NATIONWIDE FSF FANS' EMBASSY
The Nationwide FSF Fans' Embassy will operate on the afternoon of Tuesday 10th, and from 10.00am to about 6.00pm on Wednesday 11th February.
Due to the late announcement of the venue, at this current time it has not been possible to secure confirmation of police permission for our location. We hope to be based somwhere central and accessible in the city, as usual. To find out where we are, give us a ring on the helpline, which is available around the clock: +44 7956 121314
