Friday night pub crawl – If getting suited and booted and going to a formal dinner isn’t how you get your kicks, the Friday night pub crawl might be more your bag.

Members of the Northeast Division will be in situ to have a pint with early birds and mop up stragglers at each pub, and we’ll swing by the bar of the Conference Hotel to pick up colleagues who have attended the President’s Dinner at an appropriate juncture (see times below). Bring your drinking shoes, your dancing shoes and leave enough space for a late night curry if you’re brave enough.

Make a note of the times below 'cos we'll be there with a pint in hand, bonny lad...

• 6pm - Centurion (in Central Station). Straight off the train.
• 7pm - Union Rooms (aka Wetherspoons). Cheap pints and burgers.
• 8pm - Bacchus (High Bridge, just off Pilgrim Street). Wide range of beers from all over the place.
• 9pm - Lloyds Bar (Quayside). The bright lights.
• 10pm - Copthorne (Quayside). To see all the President's men.
