FSF Fan Awards - Your Vote Counts!

FSF Fan Awards - Your Vote Counts!

At Fans' Parliament we'll be recognising your favourite football writer and fan publication (print or online) as well as awarding a special club commendation. Which writer, fanzine or website has amused, inspired or informed you the most this season? Is there a club out there who deserve special recognition for their commitment to fan causes?

Football Writer of the Year - this may be someone whose match reports you particularly like reading because they are objective, amusing, not too introspective.  Alternatively was there a particular match report this season, not necessarily of your own club’s match, which you felt captured the atmosphere of the game for someone not present?    Aside from match reporting, is there a writer who has persistently campaigned locally on a supporter issue.  Or someone who deserves recognition for uncovering some of the murkier aspects of football administration, either locally or nationally.

Fans’ Publications - no doubt you think your fanzine or website is the best but you may also admire someone else’s?  We’d expect an award-winning fanzine to be informative, amusing and not necessarily confined to local matters of interest.  We’d expect an award-winning website to be informative, easy to navigate, regularly updated and well moderated.  As there are hundreds of possible nominees in both categories and time is restricted we’ll be compiling a short list based upon your initial recommendations and before reading the short-listed fanzines at a later stage.

Good Practice by Clubs Commendation
- as supporters we are more used to criticising clubs than praising them so here’s your opportunity to redress the balance.  Have you been impressed by something a club has done which you’d like to see more widely adopted? It may have been on its own initiative or it may have been in reaction to something supporters themselves have raised. It could be your club or a rival club, the choice is yours!
