Since Wales' last home game FSF Cymru has travelled to Monchengladbach, Copenhagen and Vila Real for friendly fixtures, the win in freezing Denmark was very welcome indeed.

No problems major problems were reported by fans at any of the games although transport was a bit of a worry in Denmark due to the game being played on the outskirts of the Copenhagen. Transport in Germany was a slight worry due to the volume of traffic but nothing too serious while Portugal was also a good trip.

FSF Cymru has also been keeping a close eye on the situation regarding the possibility of a Team GB at 2012. FSF Cymru is opposed to a joint GB team, as is the FSF generally, and we have been assisting MPs with information and advice.

There was a Westminster Hall debate in the House of Commons on Tuesday, March 10th about the proposal in a debate sponsored by the SNP. Plaid Cymru also played a role in the debate. It is a real concern to supporters of the Welsh, Northern Irish, and Scottish national teams that our sovereignty could be jeopardised by any involvement in Team GB.

FSF Cymru also met with the police and Home Office in London to discuss future up coming matches and the possibility of Wales qualifying for South Africa 2010. We have a good chance and it’s best to work ahead on these things.
