Turner Prize winner wants to hear from fans

Turner Prize winning artist Grayson Perry is working on a three-part series for Channel Four called Portraits of Modern Britain – and he’d like to hear from football fans who want to get involved.

Grayson is creating a series of portraits for an exhibition at The National Portrait Gallery. One of his most ambitions is a portrait of 100 people depicting a cross section of modern Britain.

He sees football as integral to Britain’s cultural and sporting life and wants to hear from four or five fans who’d like to get involved in the project.

If people live nearby petrol costs will be covered or a coach will be provided from London. Food and drink will be provided for all participants on the day.

The event will take place on Sunday 26th May (2pm-4pm) in Buckinghamshire.
